We built Konfuzio with privacy at its core. Your documents stay in Europe, are processed securely, and are never used to train AI models.

EU-First Infrastructure

All core services run on servers located in Germany and the EU. We've invested significant effort to keep your data under strict GDPR protection.

Ephemeral Processing

Documents uploaded via API are processed in memory and deleted immediately. We only keep the extracted data you need, not your original files.

No AI Training

Your documents are never used to train AI models. We process them for extraction only and respect your intellectual property.

Self-Hosted Monitoring

Even our system monitoring (which helps us detect and fix bugs) runs on our own servers in Germany. No third-party services have access to your operational data.

What Leaves the EU

Payment processing (Stripe): Only payment data like credit card information. Your documents never touch Stripe's servers. GDPR compliant with Standard Contractual Clauses.

User Experience Monitoring (LogRocket): Used to continuously improve the user experience. Only active for free-tier users, automatically disabled after purchase.

Google services: Completely optional. Use email/password authentication if you prefer to avoid Google entirely.
